Responsibilities included:

  • Overall personnel management of 160 full and part time employees in direct care, nursing, dietary, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, business office and ID professionals. Contracting for Medical Director, Psychological, Psychiatric, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services

  • Oversight of compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines: development, implementation and monitoring of facility systems for client protections, health and safety standards, clinical services, specialized services and physical plant safety codes

  • Operational fiscal monitoring and oversight: census management, resident assessment, Medicaid vendor monitoring, employee wages and benefits and workers' compensation

  • Consumer/family relations: maintain communication with consumers, families and other representatives to assure consumer satisfaction and provision of coordinated service delivery

  • Community relations: represent facilities with local public officials, State and Federal Congressional representatives and participation in professional affiliate organizations at the local, state and national levels
